Track My Passport & Passport/Visa Collection Locations

Overview

Service fee for Pick-up / Drop off of your passport / documents at the courier locations and delivery of your passport / documents are as follows:

  • Pick-up / Dropoff of passport / documents at Bưu cục Thanh Xuân (Hanoi) and Văn phòng 18A Cộng Hòa (Ho Chi Minh city): free of charge to applicant
  • Drop-off of passport / documents at any other courier locations: VND133,000 per passport / document at the time of drop-off.
  • Pick-up of passport / documents at any other courier locations: VND143,000 per passport / document at the time of pick-up.
  • Regular home delivery service:
    • For mailing address in Hanoi / Ho Chi Minh City: VND131,000 per passport / document
    • For mailing address in other provinces: VND143,000 per passport / document.
  • Expedited delivery service:
    • For mailing address in Hanoi / Ho Chi Minh City: VND240,000 per passport / document
    • For mailing address in other provinces: VND302,000 per passport / document.
  • The fees will be collected in cash when the passport / document is delivered. Exact change required.

If your application is approved, your passport and visa will be returned either:

  • To the designated courier’s pick up location you previously selected . Please note that the courier will hold your passport for only 10 days, after which it will be returned to the Embassy or Consulate. You must collect your passport within 10 days. Please do not come to your selected pickup location before we inform you that your passport is ready for pickup. You can only pick up your passport at the location you selected.
  • To your home/office address (Home Delivery Option) that you previously registered in your profile. 
  • To your home/office address (Premium Delivery Option) that you previously registered in your profile. 

The delivery timeline for Home Delivery and Pickup options is 2 business days in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and 3-5 business days elsewhere. The Premium Delivery timeline is 6 hours after the Consulate or Embassy hands over passports to the courier for consignments within Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and 1 business day for other locations.

Passport Tracking Options

For your convenience, you have several options to choose from to track the location of your passport.

Instant: Enter your passport number below to check on the status. Please note that you can use this tool to track your passport status for 7 days after your interview date.  After that, please use the other options listed below.

You may enter your delivery tracking number (AWB) into the “Tra vận đơn – Nhập số vận đơn” field at: https://ntlogistics.vn/en to check on the status. You can also contact our designated courier at their Hotline 1900636688 or Email: nhattin@ntlogistics.vn.

Email: Send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com or support-vietnam@ustraveldocs.com and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled. Do not include any additional text. You will receive an automatic response with the status.

Collecting Your Passport/Visa

To collect your passport, you must present your original ID card or any official/government-issued card showing your photo, not a photocopy.

In case you cannot collect your passport at the registered address by yourself, your representative including your family members must present all the following documents. Please note that you need to register your representative’s information in your profile before the representative can pick up your passport. To register your representative’s information, please log in to your profile, then click on “Update Profile” and enter the representative’s full name and ID number under “Mailing Address”.

The representative must present:

  • His/her own original ID card or any official/government-issued card with photo, and
  • A photocopy of your ID card or any official/government-issued card showing your photo with your signature to certify true copy.

In case you do not register the representative's information in your profile, the representative must provide the following documents:

  • His/her own original ID card or any official/government-issued card with photo, and
  • A photocopy of your ID card or any official/government-issued card showing your photo with your signature to certify true copy, and
  • An authorization letter with both of your signature and your representative's signature showing that he/she is authorized to collect your passport on your behalf. The letter of authorization must contain the following information:
    • Your representative's full name as shown on his/her ID or official/government-issued card with photo.
    • Your full name as shown in your passport and your passport number.

If the applicant is under the age of 15, the following documents are required:

  • An original authorization letter signed by the applicant's parents. 
  • A photocopy of the ID card or government-issued photo ID of the applicant's parents.
  • A photocopy of the house registration booklet showing the relations of the parents and the applicant.
  • The representative's original ID or government-issued photo ID. 

Note: In case of a group/ family, a single authorization letter together with the above required document can be presented.
