C1/D Visa Reissuance Program (C1/D VRP)

Qualifications
Renewing C1/D visa applicants who meet all of the conditions below may qualify for Interview Waiver service and avoid the need to appear at the Embassy for an interview. The applicant must:
- Be a Singapore passport holder or nonresident in Singapore;
- Have a C1/D visa that is still valid or expired within the last 48 months;
- All 10 fingerprints were captured at a previous interview
- Have had no changes in his/her fingerprints (i.e. loss of fingers);
- Present all passports covering the entire period from the issuance of the last full-validity C1/D visa up to the currently valid passport;
- Have had no U.S. visa refusal within the last twelve months;
- Have no criminal history;
- Have a current employment letter.
Please note: First-time C1/D applicants will be required to have an interview with an American consular officer.
How To Apply
Step 1
Pay the MRV Fee.
Step 2
Complete the Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application (DS-160) form. After completing the form, print and save your confirmation page.
Step 3
Register an account on this webpage. Please answer the qualifications questions carefully.
If you qualify for Interview Waiver submission, you will receive a Interview Waiver submission letter containing a document checklist. Print two copies of the Interview Waiver submission letter. Drop off your passport along with the listed documents mentioned on the submission letter at one the two Aramex courier locations. Please remember to include:
- Your current or most recent visa
- Your current passport
- One photograph taken within the last six months (conforming to the guidelines here). In the vast majority of cases, YOU MAY NOT SUBMIT THE SAME PHOTOGRAPH THAT APPEARED ON YOUR LAST VISA. Failure to submit a valid photograph will delay the processing of your case.

Step 4:
Please deliver your documents for Interview Waiver service at one of the two Aramex courier locations.
Step 5:
If additional information is needed in order to finish processing your case, you will be informed by email. If your application is approved, your passport and visa will be made available for pickup or delivered to the location you specified when you filed your application.
