    The Immigrant Visa Unit will be closed for business starting March 4, 2011 at 12:00 noon, until March 8, 2011, in preparation for the move to the new building. This new facility will allow us to serve our customers more efficiently. During the move period, all communication lines (e-mail, fax, and telephone) will be unavailable. Normal hours are scheduled to resume on March 9, 2011.
    We appreciate your patience during the transition period.

    The Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV) unit has a new public inquiry telephone number, 301-2104.
    Inquiry hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Embassy holidays and every last workday of the month.
    If you are using an Embassy telephone, it can be reached by dialing ext. 2104. Case-specific concerns can be sent to ConsManilaNIV@state.gov.
