Please note all Manning Agencies are required to be accredited in order to schedule an interview appointment for sea farers. For detailed information on the Manning Agency Accreditation Policy, please visit the U.S. Embassy website.

The Manning Agency Accreditation Policy (MAAP) is managed by the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines to facilitate visa services for manning agencies that lawfully operate within the Philippines.

All accredited Manning Agencies are required to schedule visa appointments using a designated logon ONLY. Companies participating in the MAAP can obtain a logon by sending a request via email to the U.S. Embassy.

The U.S. Embassy's Manning Agency Requirements

All Sea Farer Recruitment Agencies must follow the steps below to apply for a visa.

Step 1: Pay the MRV application fee. (Payment help and fee information.)

Step 2: Complete the Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application (DS-160) form.

Step 3: Logon to the Manning Agency Appointment System and schedule an appointment with the help of the designated login.

Step 4: Visit the U. S. Embassy on the scheduled date and time of your interview. Be sure to bring all required documents.
