The United States is working around the clock to assist U.S. citizens in Lebanon. In order to facilitate family reunification, we have resumed immigrant visa processing at Embassy Beirut for Lebanese immediate family members of U.S. citizens. Visit https://lb.usembassy.gov/visas/. Routine nonimmigrant visa processing is not available in Beirut at this time, but individuals may apply for a nonimmigrant visa at any other U.S. embassy or consulate. If you had a nonimmigrant visa interview scheduled, you will receive email notification of the rescheduling of your appointment to a later date.
Due to the unpredictable situation, the U.S. Embassy in Lebanon has temporarily suspended visa fee payment services in Lebanon.
If you are a national of Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela, or Yemen and were denied a visa under P.P. 9645 between December 8, 2017, and January 20, 2021, and did not receive a waiver under P.P. 9645, you may be eligible for relief under the Court’s Order. Please refer to details on this page to determine your eligibility and how to benefit from the court order.
Please be reminded to NOT finalize your travel reservations until your U.S. visa is issued. Administrative processing time may delay your visa issuance and travel plans.
Welcome to the U.S. Visa Information Service for Lebanon. On this website you can find information about U.S. immigrant and nonimmigrant visas and the requirements to apply for each. You can also learn how to pay the required visa application fee, and book an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.
