Immigrant Visa Fee
On this page:
Overview
Applicants who have paid their immigrant visa fee to NVC are not required to pay additional fees unless the applicant has paid only a partial amount to NVC. Anyone subject to a balance of IV fees will be informed during his or her visa interview.
All immigrant visa fees are payable in U.S. dollars or Euros at the Consulate's exchange rate on the day of the applicant's interview. Payments may be made in cash (dollars or Euro), or by credit card: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Diners/Discover (chip and PIN card technology is not supported by consulate cashiering at this time. If your bank requires it, you will need to bring cash for your consular services). Personal checks or EC cards are not accepted. A combination of U.S. dollars and Euros will not be accepted.
For your information, fees paid to U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services in Frankfurt to file the Form I-130 may not be paid by credit card.
All fiancé/e (K1/K2) visa applicants must pay a non-refundable, non-transferable Machine Readable Visa (MRV) application fee. Information on available payment options can be found here.
