Overview

If your application is approved, your passport and visa will be delivered either:

  • to your home/office address (Premium Delivery Option). There is an additional fee of UAH 60 (per one passport) within Zone 1 of cities of Ukraine and UAH 200 (per one passport) for other cities of Ukraine which are not included in the list of Zone 1 associated with this service which is paid directly to TMM Express on delivery.
  • or TMM Express will hold your passport with visa for you to pick up at the TMM Express pick-up location you specified when you scheduled your interview. There is no additional fee associated with this option.

Note: Please provide us your present cell phone number and e-mail address to contact you for information on your passport delivery.

Change Delivery Options

You may change your preferred document delivery pick-up locations online or through the call center until 11:59 p.m. the day of your interview appointment. There is no cost to change your pick-up location.

Passport Tracking Options

For your convenience, you have several options to choose from to track the location of your passport.

Please note that TMM Express will only hold passports for 10 business days from the date that you receive confirmation that your passport has arrived at the pickup location. You will be notified by email that your passport is ready for pickup. You will receive three email messages and one phone call. If it is not picked up before the 11th day, your passport will be returned to the Embassy in Kyiv. It will then be your responsibility to make private arrangements to have the passport delivered to you at your expense. Once you have made these arrangements, please ask the courier company to contact the Embassy to coordinate pick up.

Instant: Enter your passport number below to check on the status. If your passport is ready for pick-up, please collect it in a timely manner and bring supporting documents. If your passport is not collected in a timely manner it will be sent back to the Embassy or Consulate.

 

 

Email: Send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled. Do not include any additional text. You will receive an automatic response with the status.

Collecting Your Documents

TMM Express provides facilities where your passport is held for pick-up. You will see a list of TMM Express document pick-up locations when you schedule your interview and can choose the most convenient location from that list. Please ensure you provide your current email address for our records. We will send you an email when your passport has been received from the Embassy.

  • Premium Delivery Option

If you chose Premium Delivery,TMM Express will contact you to schedule a date and time for delivery. Someone must be present at your home/office when the courier comes to deliver your passport. Please note that TMM Express will make only a limited number of attempts to deliver the passport(s) to your home/office address. After it your passport will be returned to the Embassy/Consulate and you will then be contacted by the Embassy Consulate to determine how your passport can be returned to you.

  • Pick up Delivery

TMM Express has facilities where your passport can be held for pick-up. When scheduling your interview you will have the opportunity to select a convenient TMM Express pick-up location. Please provide your current email address when you select your pick-up location. You will receive an email when your passport arrives at the pick-up location. Please note that TMM Express will only hold passports for 10 business days from the date that you receive confirmation that your passport has arrived at the pickup location. You will be notified by email that your passport is ready for pickup. You will receive three email messages and one phone call. Same-day Pickup Location

TMM Express has identified one branch location in Kyiv as the location where you can pick up your passport rather than waiting for delivery to other regions of Ukraine. If you would like this option, please select the following TMM Express office in Atlas as your pickup location.

Please note that by selecting this location you are not applying for expedited visa processing. Your passport will be available for collection once the visa is processed and the Embassy has passed it to TMM Express for delivery. TMM Express sends an email when the passport is ready for pickup. To avoid delay at the TMM branch office, please wait for this email before visiting TMM.

Supporting Documents

To receive your passport from TMM Express courier or collect it at one of our TMM Express locations, you must present an original government-issued photo ID. You will also need to have your UID available. You can find your UID on your appointment letter and online profile in the appointment system. Your UID number can also be found after logging into the appointment system on the right-hand side of the landing page next to your user name/email address. If a representative is receiving your passport from the TMM Express courier or from the document collection office on your behalf - even in case of family members, the representative must present:

1) If an applicant is over the age of 16, the following documents are required:

  • The applicant’s original internal Ukrainian passport.  Third country nationals should submit government/university issued photo identification. 
  • The printed copy of the appointment confirmation letter containing the UID number

2) A representative of an applicant over the age of 16 (including family members) must present:

  • The representative’s original internal Ukrainian passport.  Third country nationals should submit government /university issued photo identification. 
  • A photocopy of the applicant’s internal Ukrainian passport or third country national government/university issued photo identification.
  • An authorization letter, signed by the applicant, permitting the applicant’s representative to collect the passport.

The authorization letter must contain the following information:

  • The representative's full name and number of internal Ukrainian passport or third country national government /university issued photo identification.
  • The applicant’s name and signature.

3) If an applicant is under the age of 16, the following documents are required by the parent or guardian:

  • The parent’s or guardian’s original internal Ukrainian passport.  Third country nationals should submit government / university issued photo identification. 
  • A photocopy of the birth certificate of the applicant.
  • The original document confirming guardianship (birth certificate, court decision, etc.)

4) A representative identified by the parent or guardian of an applicant under the age of 16 must present:

  • The representative’s original internal Ukrainian passport.  Third country nationals should submit government /university issued photo identification. 
  • A photocopy of the birth certificate of the applicant.
  • A signed authorization letter by the parent or guardian.
  • A photocopy of the internal Ukrainian passport or third country national government/university issued photo identification of the parent or guardian who signed the authorization letter.
  • A photocopy of the guardian’s document confirming guardianship. (birth certificate, court decision, etc.)

       The authorization letter must contain the following information:

  • The representative’s full name and number of internal Ukrainian passport or third country national government/university issued photo identification.
  • The parent’s or guardian’s name and signature.

Note: In case of a group/family, a single signed authorization letter will be accepted.  The group authorization letter must contain the full name, signature and number of the internal Ukrainian passport or third country national government/university issued photo identification for whom the representative wishes to retrieve the passport.  A photocopy of the internal Ukrainian passport or third country national photo identification for each applicant should be attached to the single authorization letter.

5) representative of a group of children from an orphanage must present:

  • The representative’s internal Ukrainian passport. Third country nationals should submit government/university issued photo identification. 
  • An authorization letter signed and stamped by the director of the orphanage containing the full name of the applicant and number of the travel document to be retrieved.
  • A photocopy of the internal Ukrainian passport belonging to the director of the orphanage who signed the applicant’s authorization letter.
