We would like to inform callers who are intending to schedule an appointment through our call center that our call center agents have the same access to appointment slots or scheduling as applicants have in their profiles. If there is no availability when applicants attempt to schedule an appointment, they will not encounter more availability through the call center. Applicants whose profiles are temporarily blocked will need to wait 72 hours before access to their profiles will be restored.


Beginning March 4, 2019, Russian nationals are no longer required to pay a visa issuance fee when their B-1/B-2 (visitors for business or tourism) visa applications are approved. To learn more about this change please visit FAQ section of our website.


On June 26, 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision that allows continued implementation of Presidential Proclamation 9645 (P.P.). Certain nationals of Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, and Venezuela are subject to the restrictions and limitations. More information is available at this link.


You will NOT be permitted to enter the U.S. Embassy/Consulate with (a) electronic devices or accessories, including mobile phones, tablets (such as iPads), e-readers, smaller electronic devices such as smartwatches and electronic fitness devices, USB flash drives, cables, wires, and headphones; (b) any large bag or luggage; or (c) any sharp or flammable items (including perfume and other sprays), weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
