Due to the State-wide elections in Telangana State, our Visa Application Center in Hyderabad will be closed for appointments on December 07, 2018. Applicants whose appointments are scheduled at the Visa Application Center on this day have been rescheduled to Sunday, December 09, 2018 at 11:00 am. Passport Collection services on Sunday Dec 09, 2018 at Hyderabad Visa Application Center will be open from 11:00 am to 05:00 pm.


Notice: The Mumbai Visa Application Center, located at Trade Center, Ground Floor, G Block, Bandra  Kurla Complex, Bandra East, Mumbai 400051, will be closed on 23 November, 2018. The new Visa Application Center will be located at Parinee Crescenzo, 101, 1st Floor, A Wing, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East,        Mumbai - 400051 and will start normal operations from November 25, 2018 onwards.                               

All Applicants who have selected Mumbai VAC as their document delivery location will have to collect their passports from the new location from November 25, 2018.


Notice: On June 26, 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision that allows continued implementation of  Presidential Proclamation 9645 (P.P.).   Certain nationals of Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, and Venezuela are subject to the restrictions and limitations. As of November 29, 2016, Chinese citizens with 10-year B1, B2 or B1/B2 visas in Peoples’ Republic of China passports are required to update their biographical and other information from their visa application through the Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS) before travelling to the United States. This update must be done every two years, or upon getting a new passport or B1, B2, or B1/B2 visa, whichever occurs first.

EVUS enrollment is available at There is currently no fee for EVUS enrollment.  Until a fee is implemented, travelers can enroll in EVUS without charge. The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will keep visa holders informed of new information at
