Overview

Please note that beginning November 1, document delivery options will change in Georgia

  • Pickup and dropoff services at the main TNT hub in Tbilisi will remain free of charge.
  • Pickup and dropoff services at all other TNT locations will require a premium service fee of 12 USD per applicant.
  • Home/office delivery will require a premium service fee of 9 USD per applicant.

Note: Please provide us your present cell phone number and e-mail address to contact you for information on your passport delivery.

Change Delivery Options

You may change your preferred document delivery pick-up locations online or through the call center until 11:59 p.m. the day of your interview appointment. There is no cost to change your pick-up location.

Passport Tracking Options

For your convenience, you have several options to choose from to track the location of your passport.

Please note that TNT Express will only hold passports for 10 business days from the date that you receive confirmation that your passport has arrived at the pickup location. Failure to pick up your passport within this time may cause delays in the receipt of your passport.
 
Please be inform that after 10 business days your passport will be returned to Embassy/Consulate and you will then need to wait on information from the Embassy/Consulate on how to collect your passport.
 

Instant: Enter your passport number below to check on the status. If your passport is ready for pick-up, please bring supporting documents and collect it in a timely manner. If your passport is not collected in a timely manner it will be sent back to the Embassy or Consulate.

 

 

Email: Send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled, and you will receive an automatic response with the status.

Collecting Your Documents

  • Premium Delivery Option

If you chose Premium Delivery, TNT will contact you to schedule a date and time for delivery. Someone must be present at your home/office when the courier comes to deliver your passport. Please note that TNT will make only a limited number of attempts to deliver the passport(s) to your home/office address. After it your passport will be returned to the Embassy/Consulate and you will then be contacted by the Embassy Consulate to determine how your passport can be returned to you.

  • Pick up Delivery

TNT Express has facilities where your passport can be held for pick-up. When scheduling your interview you will have the opportunity to select a convenient TNT Express pick-up location.  Please provide your current email address when you select your pick-up location. You will receive an email when your passport arrives at the pick-up location. Please note that TNT Express will only hold passports for 10 business days from the date that you receive email confirmation that your passport has arrived at the pickup location. Failure to pick up your passport within this time may cause delays in the receipt of your passport. After 10 business days your passport will be returned to the Embassy/Consulate and you will then need to wait on information from the Embassy/Consulate on how to collect your passport.

Same-day Pickup Location

TNT Express has identified one branch location in Tbillisi as the location where you can pick up the passport on the same day as we receive it from the Embassy. Should you have an emergency case or need to pick up your passport early, please select the following TNT Express office in your profile as your pickup location. Please note that by selecting this location, you are not applying for expedited visa processing. Your passport will be available for collection once the visa is processed and the Embassy has handed it over to TNT Express for delivery.

Supporting Documents

To receive your passport from TNT courier or collect it at one of our TNT locations, you must present an original government-issued photo ID. You will also need to have your UID available. You can find your UID on your appointment letter and online profile in the appointment system.  Your UID number can also be found after logging into the appointment system on the right-hand side of the landing page next to your user name/email address.

If a representative is receiving your passport from the TNT courier or from the document collection office on your behalf - even in case of family members - the representative must present:

  • The representatives own original government-issued photo ID for identification
  • A photocopy of the applicant’s government-issued photo ID
  • A letter of authority, signed by the applicant, authorizing your representative to collect your passport. The letter of authority must contain the following information:
  •  Your representative's full name as shown on their government-issued photo ID
  •  Your name

If the applicant is under the age of 18, the following documents are required:

  • A clear photocopy of the government-issued photo ID belonging to the parent who signed the applicant's letter of authority
  • The representative's original government-issued photo ID

Note: In case of a group/family, a single letter of authority with the required information for each of the applicants will be accepted.
